can you please describe the flash setup you use when you do use flash?

Thanks Kim. I'm a semi-pro photographer and shoot my tank almost every day. I have a top-down box and will try tonight to get some better shots. You truly have inspired me to crank it up. Thank you!

Excellent photos. The few times I've tried flash in my SW tank I just couldn't nail it down, washed out the colors. I need to spend more time trying. Gonna go back through this whole thread as I just now picked up on it.

Wooow! Best pictures I ever seen!
I have a Nikon D40 for years, and I dont know how to take good pictures. I already tried everything and all pics comes too blue. Amazing pictures you have here.

Have you tried adjusting the white balance? Try the presets "cloudy" or "shade". But if your tank is lit by LED, it may be impossible to remove the blueness from photos. That's the one downside of LEDs.

Thanks! Life has been super busy and distracting. I've been spending more time doing urban exploration photography and haven't been taking very good care of my tank. But since MACNA is going to be in my town this year, I'm making an effort to clean it up and get back into the hobby a little bit. :)

Awww, that really means a lot to me, thank you! I'll try to take more pics and post them up when I do.
