Anyone experienced a fish loss after dosing a tank with cupramine? I dose lanthanum chloride on a regular basis to control phosphates with great success. My problem is that I recently got a powder brown tang that developed ich. I dosed the tank with cupramine to the required therapeutic range and lose a niger trigger, powder brown tang and an ocellaris clown overnight. I have a 210 gallon tank and I did a 50 gallon water change and the remaining fish are doing OK and are eating. Anyone experienced this reaction between Lanthanum Chloride and Cupramine?

What kind of lanthanum chloride? That would be more of a concern to me imo because i haven't heard of much people lose fish from copper unless overdosed.

The product is SeaKleer phosphate remover

Ok, it’s just strange that shortly after adding Cupramine, I have fish loss.
