Seaklear pure LC. So I need to know how many mL of that I have to add to 1g of water based on my tank volume and I’m at .83ppm PO4

I add 10 ml of the commercial seaklear to one gallon and drip into sock in a approximately 500 gallon system. You can be conservative and go with 10 ml or go up to 20ml in my opinion. I use 5 micron sock to drip into. If you go with the higher level, it will clog the sock fairly quick. If it were me, I would go the 10 ml route and see how much it drops and adjust the dose based on that.

I usually do one drip every 2 or 3 seconds. For me, more like a full day to use the gallon. Depending on how much PO4 is built up in your system, levels may drop slower to begin. Once all the rock work is phosphate free, the levels come down much faster. Again, watch the sock. If it clogs, clean and go again. I am not sure but have been told that some fish (ie. tangs) can be sensitive to the precipitate, so I err on the safe side and do not let the sock overflow.

Yeah I’ve heard tangs are avs have always worried.
How often do you typically dose?
thx

Depends on how lazy I am, lol! On my system, I try to do one gallon once a week. I have been known to go longer but my PO4 starts getting higher than I like. For me, levels between 0.04 and 0.10 are where I like to be.
