Hi, my phosphates went up to 1 ppm yesterday so I dosed 10 ml of lanthanum chloride into my skimmer. my tank is 50 gallons, my phosphate has dropped quite hard to 0.5, some of my zoas have decided not to open and my anemone is sulking aswell, I have stopped dosing and definitely won’t be using it again. Will my anemone and zoas pull through.

Not sure what type you used but I dose 10 drops not 10ml into a similar size tank with no issues.

I used gophos which says to use 5ml for every 100 litres, my tank went cloudy for a few hours, then this morning I could tell somethings not right, all of my fish are fine, strangely my elegance and torch corals are bigger than ever

I've never used gophos, but I've used many other versions and never had a coral or fish death, even with a large dose. My guess is everything will be fine.

With lanthium it's always better to start with a half dose and split that into 2 seperate doses. Sudden phosphate drops will irritate corals but should be fine. Just make sure your sand doesn't harden in the tank.
