Hello I have dosed over the past months, lanthanum chloride to a glass tank and acrylic tank to reduce PO4. The glass tank seems to have a very hard to remove white coating on the inside that I don't remember seeing before using this PO4 remover.
The acrylic tank has a similar white coating only it seems it is right in the acrylic like etched . Is this a lanathium chloride chemical effect on those surfaces? Or is it just a coincidence that the annoying whiteness of th glass appeared when I started using the Lanathium chloride ?

Are you dripping the LaCl into a filter sock or dumping it into your tank? Do you notice cloudiness in the tank after dosing?

Doser , dosing into sump. With skimmer and sock. But yes slight cloudiness occasionally after a dosage

This is a common issue with dosing lanthanum, if dosed too fast or in a sock that isn't fine enough. What micron is the sock you are using?
Removal of the precipate is difficult. Boo.
