Assuming 99,9 lab grade lanthanum how many grams to a liter to make a suitable solution for dosing.

Thanks in advance.

Formula for dosing in Reef/Marine aquariums

PPM reduction needed ÷ 0.187 ÷ 2 = Grams per 100 Litres of aquarium water

Example

0.25ppm ÷ 0.187 ÷ 2 = 0.6grams per 100 Litres of aquarium water

How to use

On receiving your LaCl3:
mix 1g to 1ml for easy storage and dosing.
1gram is equal to 1ml in the dosing instructions.

When dosing:
Mix the Lanthanum Chloride with RO water - 1g/1ml to 100ml
Drip the solution into the water column or alternatively a 10 micron sock
The phosphate will bind with calcium to form insoluble crystals that will hold the phosphate indefinitely. This causes a temporary white cloud with larger doses
This can be vacuumed, as it will settle with detritus.

Hello Madasahat,
wich Lanthanum is used in the formula above? Is it anhydrous or with a little water like heptahydrate or hexahydrate?
Thank you!
