Large Amphipod population - anything to worry about?

I've got a very large amphipod population in my Reefer 170. Its a little over a year old. Some of the amphipods are getting quite large, >0.25 inches long. Is this something to worry about? What is their natural predator, or what would control their population?

It’s a good thing, most fish will eat them but mandarin fish demolish them but are prone to starving

I wish I could maintain a pod population like that!
