Large aquarium in high rise apartment??

I am looking at purchasing an apartment in downtown Denver and I was wondering if it would be able to support a large fish tank? It would be on the 27-40th floor, although I'm not sure if that matters. Has anyone else dealt with this?

You should ask them, some let you and some don't. If your worried about the weight I'm suet the floors are concrete in a building that large. I have had a 90 gallon with a 20 gallon sump on a 3rd floor but I made sure I asked them about it before I signed my lease, I just needed proof of renters insurance.

Your building probabaly has steel beams and concrete everywhere. I wouldn't even second guess that it could hold a monster aqarium. With that being said, I'd be more worried about whether or not they are okay with you doing it.

I always consult the property manager whenever I relocate for work. Many have had unlisted maximum volumes for aquariums and created a separate document to go with my lease. They were more concerned with flooding than floor support.
