I pulled this guy out of my display tank today as it took up a lot of space in my small 58 gallon. Its in the frag tank now.

I have 3 frags of it that I either fragged off before I moved it or that broke off when I was getting it out. I want to keep two to start regrowing it but I can give you one for $10. Let me know when you want to come by.

How well does these do for people new to the hobby?

I consider it fairly easy. It does need light, but it will do well in most tanks that can support coral in general. You probably would want to have a handle on cal and alk testing though. BTW...all the frags and colony have been spoke for.
