Who has large carpet anemones in there reef set up? Are they eating your fish? Moving around or staying put? I've heard mixed reviews a friend has 2 in his 350gal, have stayed in place for years and only ate his bottom dwelling gobies. Very curious and tempted to add one. His were really expensive. One is purple, the other is dark blue with rainbow colors. I'm budgeted and would have to go grey/white, yellow or green.

All of the things you mentioned can happen

My green anemone has moved once in a year. Seems like my fish avoids it..although I wouldn't mind if two Cardinals jumped in there :)

My worst fear is that the carpet will block the overflow but so far he hasn't. I don't have any bottom dwelling fish. I have a starry blenny who likes to perch on colorful coral but he knows not to sit on the carpet.
