From time to time people have asked me about some coral colonies larger than a simple frag. I normally don't have any of these to offer but I've decided to offer a very few of my bigger pieces. These are much too large for me to try to ship so local pickup only.

Pink Lace Bird Nest - About 6 inches across. Larger than a softball but not quite as large as a soccer ball. Mounted on a rock about 6 inches +- - $75

Candy Mountain Favia - About 5 - 6 inches across - $125

ORA Miami Orchid - This is actually about 3/4 of my colony that I accidentally broke off when I was fragging it. About 4 - 5 inches across. - $200

Purple Rain Acro - This one is very large - about 7.5 - 8 inches across. It is the large piece in the background of this picture. The back branches are under the shade of the euro-bracing so they are not as colored up as the front ones. I'll have to break this one off the rock but it will come off in one piece since it has a single thick stem - $100

I also have an urchin that likes to carry things around. I've had it for years and have forgotten the name of it. It is active day and night and can be seen carrying things around that it has bumped into. In this pic he has a couple pieces of shell as well as an old piece of pipe organ coral. He is 3.5 - 4 inches across. - $25

Let me know if you are interested in any of these.

Thanks H@rry the Miami Orchid looks great in my tank. And what was the name of that frag I purchased? I checked your site but did not see it. Thanks again.

I know this is local but I would buy the pink lace is you found a way to ship.

I'll be glad to ship it if you don't mind getting a bucket full of frags and you're willing to pay for the shipping.

How much will shipping be to 21231?

I figure it will take about 4 gallons of water in a bucket to ship it. That will probably be about 45 pounds. FedEx will charge me $194.69 to send that. I could try to wrap the coral in bubble wrap to help cushion it from the bangs and rolling around in transit but you will still get a big stump of a mother colony and a whole lot of frags. Not really worth it. You could come visit lovely Huntsville, AL for that price in gas (gas is 1.62 here now) and know it would be in one piece when you got back to Baltimore. Sorry.

Haha all good! Thanks, maybe I'll just visit that state oneday

Nice corals Harry! How is your little lady doing?

Thanx for asking David. She has almost fully recovered from her first knee replacement surgery. She still has to deal with the other one which is scheduled to be replace Feb. 2.
Cancer has left her body and we're praying that in the spring she will be restored to health and activity.
