Large fleshy bubble on Cardinal...

Obligatory: yes I need to clean the glass


This guy has had this soft fleshy bubble for ~6 months and it just keeps getting bigger. I'm not too concerned about it since he eats fine, and it doesn't seem to hinder movement or anything. Though I am curious as to what it is.
