Large(?) pH-swings. How to minimize?

This is likely reading more into the graph than is there, but...
Look closely at your graph post-fish. The lows are creeping up, as are the highs. Looks like in 2-3 more weeks, your "after" may match your "before".

You don’t actually say what your swing is, but generally, the pH swing itself is not an issue, only the pH extremes (especially on the low end). If you stay within 7.8 to 8.5, there’s not big problem. More aeration will reduce the swing if that’s still a goal.

That’s great bud ! Thanks for letting me know ! The two values shown are my swing ! It creeps up to 8.41 during the day and comes down during the night thank god ! I bubble scrub full DT at night time ! And I have an incorporated refugium with air all the time !

Your comment suggests that pH 8.41 is some concern. It’s not. It might be the most perfect pH for a reef with hard corals, balancing the faster growth that may happen there against increased precipitation on heaters and pumps as the pH gets bigger.

My tank ran pH 8.35 to pH 8.55 for years and I was happy. [emoji3]
