LARGE pretty anemone!?

My camera is really sucking at showing how it looks, not saying its WAY off but its much prettier in person.

The disk is 4" and the tentacles span maybe 8"? sometimes it spreads itself like a weirdo and just takes over my entire 15 cube up

And it has a funny sense of humor,

hi! i'm kind of glad you priced it lower than i thought because i really like it and want an excuse to keep it... saw someone else post a large anemone and someone quoted 600-800 and it was a basic RBTA but higher due to size... this thing eats up my whole tank but i love it

rainbow bubble tip is what i see, prices are getting out of hand ,6-800 is unrealistic,if you can get it by all means ,best of luck have a good night ,ask 100,take 75 at most imo

well, i wouldn't try to get it... i would HATE to be overcharged and that would ruin the fun of the hobby... I like that we all hook each other up an make this fun. I more meant to say that the post inspired me to inquire about prices for large anemone... just curious is all

Paid $80.00 for a rainbow BTA that's slightly smaller than a baseball. Put it in my 350 gallon and it moved to the back side of a huge rock and wont be seen again for years. So I think I got a good deal. LOL

I've never seen an 8" rainbow anemone for $45! I really need to shop online only, I paid way too much for all my stuff at a high end LFS

i actually made a mistake, i meant the stem is 4"... i just realized what the "disk" is! the disk is maybe 6"-7"? and the tentacles are all over the dang place. I don't now how to measure it but it easily takes up 1/4th of my 15 gallon

So i’ve been selling my anemones to the local reefing community for quite some time over the years and how to price them is basically diameter without tentacle extension and color grade. With that being said....my anemones look like this and I’ll share with you my pricing points and they honestly are sold almost instantly. Yours may not be an ultra grade rbta, but definitely decent looking rbta so with that said I would reduce your price by around 15% in comparison to my pricing points for mine.

2-3” - 40
3-4” - 60
4-5” - 100
5-6” - 120
6-7” - 150
8-10” - 200
10”+ - price can vary but 300 and up

I had the same rainbow coloration and typically sold my splits for 10$ an inch. Mine split every 3 weeks though so sometimes cheaper depending on how many I had.

great prices! how about for larger? so 10" would only be $100 if you sold this?
