Large Zoa colony VALUE ???

I have a buyer but thinking of getting a fair price for this ( Eagle Eye) ????? But not sure of its value. Enlighten me on its name and dollar amount. Thanks so much for your expertise!!! 10” or 11” up and across.

I have heard street values of $2 a head for colonies and $5 a head for frags but that's just a rough estimate. I would think you could easily get $100-$200 for that but I am not an expert on pricing.

I looked up eagle eye and it didn't seem to match yours. Maybe an Indo Cat Eye ?

Just to give you an idea, check out Corals.com’s website. They some similar size colonies for, if I recall, just over $200.

YW, street sales are really a questioned market value. A LFS would probably ask $350 so I woukd definitely start at $200+ and be willing to work down from there.

Id frag it, You could probably get 20 frags out of that sell them at $10 each. Much easier sell then the whole thing for $200.

I would say value is 200$ in person. If I had the space I would spend 200 on it. Or 150 plus 50 sh

If you have buyer willing to swing $150/$200 I’d sell. Otherwise I’d do large frags at about $30/piece and make more money that way. But it’s also always nice seeing large Zoa colonies

A local business has offered to pay me a $1.25 per head. They’ve got quite the setup. Having one large zoa rock that they can cut into 3-polyp frags is a win, win. I’m sure there’s over 600 zoas on this rock. $$$
