Hey Everyone,

I have a rock filing out with WWC Gaia Zoanthids(these things grow like crazy for me). I want to ask around for ideas to add the the rock in order to have multiple Zoanthids on the rock. These Gaia’s are pretty cool looking(not as cool as they looked on the site when I order them but I just assume that’s lighting differences) but as we all know there are a lot of green colors when it comes to coral. I would love to add something else cool/different to the the rock and these guys have the biggest polyps of all my Zoas. I currently have Rastas(tiny polyps), GMK(similar in size to Gaias but not ready for fragging and not really something I would add to a zoa rock), and Nightmare Palys(polyps in between Rastas and Gaias). The nightmares might work but I’m not really into the red and green combination outside of Christmas and on top of that they have been slower growers for me.

Just thought it would be fun to put it out there and grab some ideas from the group.

Thanks Everyone!

Utter chaos should be readily available locally! Purple monsters were a bit harder to source for me, and I unfortunately lost my colony last year, otherwise I would offer. Best of luck!

I'm having really good luck with some Gatorades and the neon orange skirts would really pop against the green. They're not a huge polyp, but I'd say slightly smaller than a dime, skirt-edge-to-edge.

Wow yeah that’s about where these Gaias are. I will check them out too !

Just a word of caution with your plan.
All corals will compete for space. The faster ( probably larger) growing zoanthids will eventually crowd out the slower growing and smaller zoanthids until there is only one.

Yeah I figured that would be the case but I also figured it would be interesting to watch in the mean time. At some point I will probably trade the entire rock away, I just never did one before and thought it would be interesting to try.
