Largest asterina ever?

So this beast appeared last week and then vanished. Showed up again tonight and I was able to get a rough photo. Could this be an asterina? Its freaking huge(over 1"). Has all of its legs. If there's a chance it's a good hitchhiker, I'll let him stay, if not...well.

There is a chance that it’s a different type though as there are so many types of starfish ;Bookworm
