My largest fish in my 320 DT is my very dear Powder Blue tang. I got him as an emaciated, full of disease, less than 2 inch fish that I was not sure if he was going to make it.

Amazing fish and transformation great job

My dream fish is the majestic angel ever since I saw a photo in a book when I was 6 or 7 years old. When I set up my 200 gallons tank it was really difficult to resist the temptation. My biggest fish are a diamond goby and a 4 inch marine betta.

I knew that if I got a majestic angel I would begin looking at my tank too often like a cage.

For me the 2 biggest sins of reef tanks are:

- Absolute lack of depth;
- Broken sense of proportion by having big fish and small corals.

Any tank that looks deep looks beautiful to anyone. There isn't a single person who doesn't like a tank that looks deep and the master freshwater aquascapers know this very well and put a great deal of work into this. It's something you learn like you learn how to keep your water parameters stable.

When you dive and see videos of the natural reefs, you see huge corals surrounded by smaller fish. Once again, it would never cross the mind of a freshwater aquascaper to put a big fish in their tanks. A big fish will make any tank look smaller.
