I'm down to 1 remaining jeabo powerhead I use to mix saltwater.
Got 3 dead ones now. Plus a couple others that have been tossed.
So I'm going to look for a more dependable pump and would also like to find the strongest one I can that does NOT use a power supply and a controller.
I also want one that is a wide flow/propeller pump, and magnet mount.
So far the biggest/strongest one I've found is the Tunze 6125 with a flow rate of 3150 gph.
Am I missing any?

Great pumps, checked all the boxes for cost, quality and in my case, controllability with the waver.

Why not just drop a return pump on the bottom of the container? I use an old eheim compact 2000, makes a nice fountain on the surface and mixes salt nicely
I did that once and while I was away from the container, it started spinning around and around until the the cord pulled out of the pump body.
Only use magnetic mounts now.

I have 2 Rossmont MX4100s very happy. I use the waver controlling but ran them for 6 months without it. I don’t think you can go wrong with Rossmont.

Use a mag return pump with the sucker attachment.

Hopefully, this was just a freak thing and everybody else's are fine.
While it worked, it really seemed to move alot of water.
Plus they are very small and compact.

Can you build a cheap pvc base to keep it in position? I was going to do this with a fluval sp2

I'm going to be so bummed if my rosemonts do what yours did.

A sicce voyager would do the job and is bullet proof just huge which doesn't matter in your use.
