what temperature you set in your chiller? does cold water may cause white spots to the tangs?

I keep my tank at about 24.5 to 25.5. With white spot it's life cycle slows down in colder water and speeds up in warmer water. There no a fish in my tank that hasn't had white spot. I believe it's a good thing as they can built a immune to it. There on a fatty mixed diet throughout the week. I also run ozone, uv and if I feel unsure I dose with hydrogen peroxide. Luckily I haven't had a single casualty from white spot. :)

i installed haliea 300 recently and noticed that my travely and my scopus tang is itching thier body in the rock, not regularly but sometimes, before installing the chiller there was no problem, i kept notice on the tang, there was no sign of spots still now, so thinking what may me the cause for the itching, is that suddenly drop of temperature due to the chiller?

Are you running you tank colder? It would most likely be ick. Do you run any precautions?

previously my tank temperature was 31.7 deg and i set it to 29 deg, before instlating chiller the water was warm ,but the fishs were quite good, but after setting the temperature to 29 deg i noticed this things? what may be the cause? no i dont run any precautions....

** ITS BEEN AWHILE**

So lately ive had the mission of catching and rehomeing some fish that were cause a ruckus in my tank. breeding pair of domino damsels, 1 female birdnose wrasse and a foxface. Had to drain the tank down to 20cm from the bottom.
While doing this decided i might aswell do abit of a rescape. looks alot better and with the aggressive fish re-homed to a bigger tank with bigger fish, all my fish are now very happy, more social and active.

Wow! What a difference. I liked the old 'scape a lot, but this one is pretty great, too. The way the corals seem to spiral up the side of the rockwork is very attractive!

Which fish, precisely, did you move out of the tank?
