No i have not be able to do that - neither with the threadfin cardinals. They spawn too.

Hah. Just figured I'd ask. Back when I got my pajamas I looked at every set of spawning pajama cardinals I could find pics of online, to see if I could find a tell. Imagined I could see a difference in head shape/ mouth coloration. Then I bought the two fish in the LFS that were most different in those respects. Then both fish changed head shape and coloration, so I still have no idea what I have.

Wow look at that crab go, what kind is he? Stunning video as ever Lasse

It is a tropical version of your sally lightfoot. But it is so big that I´m not totally trust him/her :)
Maybe he/she have to move - but there will come a smaller one

Can you write your fish list? You tank continues to look awesome

I have publish one last year but I will try to update it later on

Thanks. I saw later in my evening that you also answered someone else already - I felt like a dork. Sorry about that.

I guess we know what may be on the dinner plate one night :D Just kidding. But that thing is large. I almost bought a Sally Lightfoot the other day just for some variety but passed. When I first saw the video I was happy I did although type of != same - still :) Great looking tank though and I always enjoy the videos. Thank you for sharing and hope you have a great day.

Sally Lightfoot is a British species from the Atlantic - this is a tropical variant - therefore - type of. It was not meant to be sarcastic if you took it that way :) I hope not. But I love it - the whole family too. If I get ride of this - I'll get a new for sure.

No, I didn't take it that way at all. It was more a comment to myself :)

I really enjoy watching your videos on the tank and hope that mine will one day look just as nice as it matures.

Beautiful tank! I’ve not gone back and read through the entire thread, so apologies if this has already been asked/answered...

But how long have you had the four chrysus together? Any aggression between them so far?

Also, your new guy is very cool. I’ve seen them labeled as a “gumdrop coral croucher” around here, but never looked into it enough to realize they are actually in the scorpionfish family. Do they have special feeding requirements? Venomous?

They have been in the aquaria for nearly 2.5 years. I had 5 from the beginning but one jump out. The large one is the king but they have done very well - nema problema.

The gumdrop is still in my refugium - I have not seen him/her since I put in him/her. I do not really know their feeding requirements - but I have seen nothing about them being specialists.
