Great video Lasse!

Hi #Lasse which GHL lightbars did you go with was it the slimline or lightbar 2? I’m building an office desk nano only 90L and going to move away from Orpheus and give GHL a try, just not sure which to go with tanks 60cm x 40cm x 40cm. Appreciate any suggestions..

I use Lightbar 2. I would suggest 3 pcs of model 60. 2 deep actinic and 1 actinic. It will draw a little more than 100 W. Power module 150. splitter and connection cables to your Profilux. There is one connection cable to P3 and another to P4. With Power module 150 - you can upgrade with one more bar later.

Thankyou..

Hi Lasse,
Love your tank. When I attended MACNA in Phoenix, USA in 2017 I had a chance to talk to Dr. Jean Jaubert. He told me that in his opinion a plenum was no longer needed or necessary. The only reason his tanks had a plenum was that when he started his first DSB the tank already had an under gravel filter in place. He now recommends a DSB of 3-5 inches of the proper grain size without. Plenum. I realize that part of reason you use a plenum is that you can take measurements of the water under the plenum. Do you still believe that the plenum has a beneficial purpose

Yes because the whole DSB works as an reversed undergravel filter. I dose ethanol in the plenum an let around 300 liters a day going down there.

Hi Lasse, what happened to your turbinaria/pagoda cup coral? It was on the bottom left substrate early on in the tank's life. There is now a clam there.

I have killed both corals and fish during this period - I´m sorry that coral is one of the corals I lost
