Last attempt to salvage a doomed zoa

I have about 25 different zoas and they have all been happy and growing, but about 2 months ago this one suddenly lost it's skirt and started going down hill. I put it in lower light and it didn't help. Lowered the flow and tried an iodine dip and it didn't help, etc., etc. Now algae has taken over and grows back as soon as I pull it off. I am hesitant to do a h2o2 dip because it is so weak. It still has mouths and amazingly eats if I spot feed it. so, what do you think? I know it's probably hopeless, but this will be the first coral I have ever had die and I don't want break my lucky streak!

It isn't going to be happy getting bothered by the algae.. I'd do the H2o2 dip and get it back in the display. Hope this one recovers for you. Zoas are pretty resilient.

quit messing with it. just aggravating it more so.
i use blue leg hermits for algae cleaning.
and as long as there are still polyps leave it, even if they don't open.
i had some close for over 3 months while those around it were doing fine.
all opened back up and spreading.

I would take the risk and dip it in hydrogen peroxide, I have dipped several zoas during my ugly period and with the exception of them being upset for a few days, nothing bad happened!!!
