I've finally decided to make an active profile so I'll just introduce myself here!

I'm from Canada and I've been keeping aquariums for over 17 years (started saltwater around 14 years ago), although the first few years were during my childhood so it hasn't all been done properly. I have a biology degree and I'm currently a microbiology major looking to go into aquaculture (or wild fish?) research for my grad school. I pretty much like all aquatic creatures, and I prefer natural aquariums (ie. not glowfish and plastic plants).

I love to research so I'm probably going to end up posting advice based on my experience with my tanks and others, along with things I've learned through the scientific community. Remember to always question what you hear though, people with the best intentions can sometimes be wrong (myself included).

I currently help breed and care for Northern and Southern Mummichog for my university, and I have a 13.5 gallon mixed reef.

Feel free to send me a message if you want to talk or ask questions!

Welcome! Mummichog sounds interesting. Research coming soon!

Edit: I've had gudgeons before. Nifty little fish!
