Check it out! Here's my latest frag rack. Legs are 100% stable, and I can fit a frag plug above the pillars too! Previous Racks had legs held in place by zip ties which were not as stable and prevented the 4 corners from being used. In my backup nano-tank, this is valuable space!!
As mentioned in other threads, I'm a fan of the Coral Cradle. If you do it right (I.e. use the right eggcrate and orientation -- tapered w/ the thin side down), the plugs *almost* lock into place!
In fact, in the last shot, a Rack is being held up *by the plug*!
I used 3/4" PVC for the pillars, made initial slits w/ a hack saw for preciseness, then cut along the same path with a wood saw to make the channels wider.
Top down, notice the upper-left corner with plug in place:
Side view:
A near-populated rack:
They *almost* lock into place:
Enjoy!
-Who Dah?
PS: No, that is not my hairy arm in the last shot...
PPS: Yes, my arms are harier!

What are you using to light the tank?
