Latest method to remove scratches from Acrylic Tank

Hello.

I picked up a 30gl Acrylic Tank and have realized it is very well scratched. I see there are a few products out there to remove the scratches. I was wondering what the current trend product is to remove my scratches. Any advice is appreciated.

Wet/dry sandpaper, rough grit to very fine as you progress (1K-12K).
