Yes buy the non powder kind I’ve never had a problem.
 
If you have the powder ones they kinda feel chalky just rub your hands under the faucet for a bit you should be fine.

Yeah I just rinsed them out a bit first. I looked it up and Google said it's just cornstarch

Nitrile is preferred over latex, due to the potential for leaving residue in the tank. Ideally, you'll want to invest on something like these. Also, while the gloves you are using now may afford a bit of protection against your clowns, wait until they mature. Depending on the species, they'll go right through them and into your hand. I'm looking at you, Sebae and Tomato clowns...
