Laundry soap and tds

I rinsed the bucket and pump that I used for my washing machine and it still had a perfume smell to it. I filled the bucket with pure water and the tds showed .001. i used IT anyways. Should I be concerned?

I rinsed it probably 10 times.

Haha no suds. The tds measures 000 when in a cup but in the bucket 001. All is fine however.

If you are suspicious of the bucket maybe a wipe down with vinegar, and a rinse in hot water might make you feel better about it?

Even CO2 in the air can push the TDS of pure water up close to 1 ppm TDS, so that isn't a sure sign of a big concern.
