Hi everyone

The tank is pretty clean out of algae lately and I notice the blenny is getting skinny

It will not accept nori or dry food
What I can do about it? Is there any other food source I can try?

Mine will eat algae wafers. I believe they are New Life brand but will check later.
Thanks for the tip. I have a picky lawnmower blenny as well so I'll give these a try to see if it his perks his interest (fairly sure it will get the attention of the other herbivores as well).

Start growing algae for sure. Ask the store where you got the fish what they fed. Never seen a fish refuse Hikari A or PE pellets. Good luck my friend

This posts shocks me as my lawnmower is the glutton of my tank. Always hopping around looking like it’s pregnant. Mine will eat anything and everything. Goodluck!

Every one I’ve ever owned starts off small but a short time later they all look pregnant
Their worse downfall is they are also jumpers

Mine was fat and ate everything like this but after 2 years is now wasting away. Comes out to eat but not as much. What's wrong? Clowns are great and same as when set up tank (just bigger)) with the blenny. She was so cute , and a character! No sign of disease and some easy corals are doing well. Should I treat tank if she is the only fish having issues?

No don't treat the tank.
You need to find something that it will eat. They can be picky.

Mine eats the Hikari Algae wafers

Yeah. I agree to try other foods. Nori, wafers, mysis, etc. Mine eats everything. Makes me wonder if it’s just old….? Do fish stop eating and get depressed like old humans? I have no idea.

Often, skinny is due to the wrong foods. Its a myth that these fish are algae eaters. While they need algae in their diet, they require meast such as chopped Krill, plankton, chopped clams and Calcium- Yes, calcium. When you see them pecking on rocks, its a core belief that they are picking algae but actually they are gnawing on rocks for calcium

You can also try frozen brine shrimp with Spirulina.

Thanks @vetteguy53081 . Didn't know that.
Probably explains why mine also fight for frozen mysis
