Lawnmower Blenny hosting in Leather

I’ve finally introduced my Lawnmower Blenny from QT into my DT.

A little bit of a dust up with the Azure Damsels (the only other fish in my DT) but that settled down.

Now my only problem is that the Blenny seems to have taken up residence in my Leather!!!

Not sure if I can (or should) do anything about this...the leathers not too happy about the situation, but the Blenny looks as comfy as!!!

Most leathers get used to it and within a week or two it shouldn't bother it (I've got a ltitle toady that is just a bit bigger than my skunk clow and its always open even though there is a clownfish and often a blenny in it at the same time). Some don't like constant perching on them but the amount of toadstools that I've seen out and happy with clownfish or blennies in them would lead me to suggest that it's unlikely to cause anything but a minor irritation.
You might also see the blenny nipping at the coral but don't worry about that unless you see chunks out of it as they regular eat the film of algae that the corals naturally shed.

I didn't know how territorial they were. I got a Coral Beauty last night, and the LMB keep his in the right edge of the aquarium. I hope he lets up soon.

Yep, my tailspot blenny did the same thing, he also found other spots and my leather did get use to it and start to tolerate it a bit.

I agree my lawnmower is probably the only fish in my tank I see chase others. It's not often though. Usually only if a fish is hanging where he wants to go.

They share the same kind of diet so the blenny is just protecting its food source. I'd bet if the coral beauty was in first it would be the other way around. It will probably settle down in a week or so but you might see bite marks on the angel.

I saw this and thought I would add a similar pic.. pardon the brown cyano... my tank is very good at wiping out nitrates. It was red, since dosing nitrates, it turned brown.
