Hi all, I'm new to this forum here and just wanted to see if many others have had their lawnmower blenny tank jump? It was pretty unfortunate that he did it in the middle of the night last night so I guess he got spooked by something when all of the lights were off. Its pretty unfortunate since he actually would greet me in the morning and wait for me to put algae on the clip :(
I ran a couple tests on Sunday and double checked some readings again today and there weren't any spikes. Maybe it was his time to go.

But with a cover it didn't have to be his time to go. Any fish can jump, and they can do so for a myriad of reasons.

Yep, I had one jump to the center brace at night. My other one jumps occasionally if spooked. Get a cover on that tank. I have been luck as the one in my 40g has yet to jump unless I am messing in the tank.

All fish can jump. I feel lids are a requirement for all tanks.

Sorry for your loss, always tough to lose a fish.

Thanks guys - yea he was actually my favorite fish as funny as that may sound. Hard lesson to learn to get the tank cover; a bunch are sold out online but i've found a few kits that could work.
