Fish sometimes take a long time before starting to eat IME. I've had fish not eating for more than a week. Unfortunately I've had a LMB which didn't ate as well. He was in my DT straight away and ate every little bit of algae there was, but didn't take any prepared foods. I tried every every food I could think off, but after 2 months he sadly passed away when there wasn't any algae left in the tank. I don't wanna be pessimistic at all, but sometimes a fish just doesn't adapt well to our tanks. Don't give up on your LMB, and try everything every food you (and the other people here) can think off. Maybe he is just a little stressed and needs some more time. If that's the case, you can try to get more hiding spaces in the tank so he feels more secure. Good luck!

What kind of nori are you getting from the grocery store? Can't say I've seen nori. Unless you mean a Asian store.
This is the one I get at my grocery. I tried the ones made for fish and neither my Blenny nor my tang would eat those.

I have tried the two little fishies algae sheet, I will the grocery store seaweed a try if I can find it.

I also found formula 2 herbivore pellets that I forgot I had. Think I'll try these tonight. He looks really good other then not eating. His color looks good, he's not breathing heavy, not acting erratic. Hopefully he'll settle in and start eating.

I also bought algae wafers that are supposed to be here tomorrow, and the recommended seaweed extreme that is supposed to be here wednesday.

He’s probably just a little freaked out. Does he have anywhere to hide? My blenny loves his barnacle cluster and retreats there anytime he thinks there’s danger (spoiler, there’s not. He’s a lone fish right now)

I put some pvc pipe in there for him to hide in, he would rather hide under the sponge of the sponge filter.

Mine took several months (4?) to eat any prepared foods. Live algae or rock with algae is a good suggestion. Maybe your fish store would have some caulerpa.

Also, he might be eating when you walk away from the tank.

Very true. I had a flame hawkfish in QT for 6 weeks, never saw him eat or even go after food for the entirety of 6 weeks. Once in observation tank by himself, he started to chow down.... Unfortunately, he also found a one inch opening by the HOB to Epstein himself.... ;Dead :(
