Putting my crushed coral in now. How picky do I need to be with the really hard to get spots under and around my rocks? I put them in first. When i add water will it work itself out somewhat?

You want your rocks in first and then fill sand around them. This keeps the rocks from shifting later.

Already did that. Have 40lbs in there now. I'm just curious how hard I need to work at getting the areas under the parts of the rock that arent touching the bottom

I cant use sand. I'm running a reverse UGF system

Well crushed coral substrate is what it is. Pushing by hand up against the rocks is all you can do. It will settle over time. Do you plan on any wrasses in your tank?

This is my first tank so right now my only plans for the future is putting water in lol. Clowns of course for the kids and a clean up crew. I'm more interested in corals. Most of the fish I pick will most likely serve a purpose

Good luck on the tank brother!
