I had some zoos giving me a problem not opening so I took some tank water in a container poured some iodine into it and threw the zoos in there swirld them around rubbed them a little and popped them back in the tank. Darn things opened up.:ops:

Some people have good luck with dips... I am currently trying to dip my few mohawk colonies, as they both seem to have gotten a fungus. Will see how they turn out in the next few days.

Key to sick zoos/palys seems to be iodine dips and high flow.

I actually do the same thing. I put them in a 1/2 gallon container and add 10 drops of lugols iodine and let them sit for an hour or two.

Did it help you any?
