I'm looking into an economical storage container for Rodi to serve as my ato reservoir. It needs to be 18 "or less in width and preferably more than 5-8 gallons. I'd really like around 12-20 gallons
My issue is most containers are ldpe which I'm assuming means low density poly ethelyne.
I've always been told use hdpe.
Is ldpe an issue?

HDPE and LDPE are both polyethylene and will not degrade or otherwise be a problem unless someone mixed something unusual into the plastic. Neither are plasticized for folks who worry about that.

Thanks randy that's good to hear as there are a bunch of different types of containers in ldpe, nice to have something large enough I won't have to fill twice a week
