Leak Test

So tomorrow my plans is to plumb my tank and Saturday to leak test everything.
My questions, do the fill the tank with tap water or must I use RO/DI.
Nothing will be in the tank (no rock or sand)

I would assume you could use tap water. Might reek like chlorine, but I don't see why you couldn't.
