Came home today and my 29 gal Biocube has a drip of water from the back corner and it looks like all under the tank has water under it. I noticed a little salt creep on the top of the back chambers, but no actual water like today. I just added the shrimp yesterday.

Can I put everything in a Rubbermaid tote and continue the cycle or what should I do?

Soooo mad!

Looks like there is water all between the glass bottom and the plastic bottom. Dumped a bunch out when I tilted the tank to rinse it........uggg.

How long can i keep everything in the plastic tub? And can i put the lid on, I have dogs and kids and don't want anything messing with it....

Thanks

some People use plastic tubs for QT tanks. I think the issue is your biofilter. If you keep an eye on the ammonia levels and Ph you can keep them there indefinitely. If you are going to keep them I there a while you might want to use a light to help with your pH.[HASHTAG]#reefsquad[/HASHTAG]

I haven't tested any water. I just put the shrimp in the day before yesterday .......... I have a heater and powerhead pointed at the surface for now. Hopefully getting another (newish) biocube this Saturday. This one has just the glass bottom.

The one I have had water all between the glass and plastic when leaking!

That is a bummer, you should be good with using a tub to keep everything in. @recess62 is right on track with his advice

Thanks everyone so for advice so far. I have another thread about the 90 gal that I'm setting up in the retirement community I work in. It has a chip. And I was tossing and turning all night worried about it leaking after coming home to that! Ha.
