LEAR frag swap thread

I temp float corals for 20-30 minutes, then I test salinity and alk to see how far off they are. If they are within range I'll fill a container up with fresh tank water. I dose 10ml of bayer for every 4 Oz of tank water. I let them sit for 15 minutes in the dip. I then fill up another container with fresh tank water. I pull each frag out of the dip individually, give them a good shake and then give them another good shake in the fresh tank water as the rinse. If the plugs are dirty I'll cut off and glue to a new one.

Temp acclimate, drip acclimate to 50/50 tank to frag water, add approx. 1 ml of Bayer per ounce of water, let sit with periodic agitation for 10 to 15 minutes, turkey baste, swirl, 10 mins in tank water, turkey baste, swirl, 10 mins in fresh tank water, turkey baste, swirl, drop on floor or on sandbed, CURSE!!!, place in tank, dispose of ALL water exposed to bayer.

They lost some color on the trip home and the dip (bayer) but I think they will all recover and color up nicely.

Did you get the homewrecker from renton? I stopped at his house the Friday before and he had a bunch of the homewreckers fragged up. Man is his system nice! Sure is talented.

Here's a few of my goodies. I did have a few montis bleach out on me (and one that was dead before I got home grrrrrr). I also lost a tubbs behind the rock work somewhere that I am hoping my urchin will pick up for me, and my pretty rock nem from frost decided he likes the back of the tank better then the front where I can see him

the shroom tank got some nice new additions though, and luckily that tank is so small it's hard to loose anything in it lol.

I just use my cell phone because I suck at taking pics with the real camera.

True, but phones are just so much more convenient

I can't even bring myself to adjust the WB on the dslr because all I have to do is push a button on my phone to do the same thing lol. Hey! Did you have the gender reveal party yet? My guess is blue

What? With a cell phone? I have a Iphone7 and my wife has the new samsung which has a awesome phone and I can never get good pics!
