Okay so I am upgrading my tank soon and I am putting the larger tank where my current tank is now so I need to move my tank... I am getting this rank Saturday morning... would it be less stressful to do it tonight so they have a little time before I move them to my bigger tank? Or would it be less stressful for them to stay in the tank tonight and move them tomorrow then put them in the new tank the next day?

It would help to know what your plans are with the fish. I would expect that you would be better off doing it tomorrow since I would anticipate your filtration capability of where you move them to will be less effective than your DT's.

Take the shortest amount of time from start to finish as possible. If the fish are going to be in a holding area without p proper filter make sure to use a heater, a pump or an airstone, and add prime to prevent ammonia build up.
