Theoretically if I wanted to light up my tank without activating photosynthesis or "photon-sensitive cells" of any organisms in the tank (corals, nuisance algae, etc), is there a wavelength in the visible spectrum that could accomplish this?

I understand not all LEDs put out a pure wavelength (unless it's a laser IIRC), but I am looking for whichever wavelength is least likely to make my corals "think" that it's daytime while at the same time lighting up the tank...

I was thinking something in the yellow range... 550 to 600. What are your thoughts?

your guess is as good as any..
