Leather coral bald up and shiny

For about 3 days my leather coral has had its polyps retracted and has a shiny surface should I be worried?

No, typical when they are upset. Shedding the top layer of the skin will happen next along with polyp extension, when done being upset. How long have you had it?

I've had it since April 2 and it's been fine up until now and has even doubled in size.

Make sure you have flow on the guy so it can blow the old skin off.
