hello guys, I recently bought a leather coral that I don’t know the name of. It was good a couple of days, but then it started to close up and also not let out its polyps fully. (Almost like halfway) I cant figure out what’s wrong! Help!!

That’s a toadstool. They can be moody at first but just give it time to acclimate
 
If you blow off the rocks with a Turkey badger you can “see” the flow with the dust.
You want a med ish flow. The polyps when normally open should move just a bit.
 
It’s also important not to keep moving it about too. A new toadstool will typically shed its skin not long after it has been introduced to a tank. As long as it’s not in direct strong flow as above it should perk up.
 
Umbrella toadstool. Requires moderate lighting and moderate water flow, They are moody in which they will be extended daily then folded or flat (no polyps) for a day or three.
Applying gentle squirts from a turkey baster will perk them right up
