So I bought a big nice leather two months ago from my lfs. It was about 6 inches tall with a 5 inch plate at the top. Since in my tank it has slow shrunk to about 2 inch high and 4 inch top plate. I do weekly water changes and changed the flow several times to no avail. What can I do to get it back to looking like the lfs Had it

Everything else is healthy, I'm confused

Leathers have a mind of their own. They will close up from stress and stay like that for log periods. I think one of mine stayed closed for over a month when I moved it. Picky little bugger. However, they are generally very resilient too. They also will stay like that when shedding ( something they do I think to clean themselves and as a reaction to stress FME).

They generally like flow, but not direct. Light, give it a bit of time where it is. Moving it all over will just make it mad. These guys can really test your patience. :)

Forgot, they do like dirty tanks (feed marine snow, cyclops and such). Also, they benefit from iodine additives (careful before adding anything to your tank, just letting you know so you can do research).
