Two pictures attached. 1st picture is what it looks like now. 2nd picture is what it looked like two days ago. A frag installed the same day is doing well. Everything else in the tank looks well.

Ammonia = 0
Nitrite = 0
Nitrate = 10
Salinity = 1.024
PH = 8.0

How long been in the tank? What flow is the coral sitting in.
 
Been in the tank for a week. I would say low to medium flow. The other frag that is doing well seems to be moving more.
 
Looks like Kenya Tree Coral...if so, it's normal to close up occasionally ...real problem is that it can take over the tank, it is considered a 'pest' coral by many reefers and they don't want it in their tank.
 
Agree with Kenya tree. They can and will drop limbs that will float around tank and will colanize other areas of the tank .
 
Moved him to the top of the rock where there is higher flow. 2 days later he popped open.

Flow does a lot for leather corals .
 
Dont let the naysayers get to you. Kenya trees look wonderful and add great movement to a tank. Just be aware they will occasionally need aggressive pruning.
