My leather coral is about to split. Do I let it split and take out the new portion and glue it to a rock? Dont think I should let it float around. This was this morning before lights. It’s got a few more days to split.

wow, never seen a leather splitting! Don't glue it, just attached the foot area to a small rock with rubber band and it'll attach itself in a week or so.

Yeah! Glue it to some rock or trap it with some rocks. It will attach itself :)
I thought about this. Was thinking about cutting and fragging but didn’t want to pull it out and don’t want to cut it in the tank. I’ll trap it between a few rocks and see what it does. Great idea, thanks.

Me either. I’m so excited the tank has been up for about 18 months and is doing great. I assume this is also a good sign. It has polyp extension about 3/4” in the afternoon when lights are up and running.
