Leather corals too close?

Recently got a finger leather in my dt about 5 inches or so from my speckled leather and since then my speckled never fully opens anymore, are they too close and having a toxin battle?

I had problems at far end of tank about 6 FEET away, even while running charcoal trying to eliminate toxins from water. Eventually had to rehome my toadstool leather or lose all my other corals and anemones. LFS gave me a great credit due to size.

Unfortunately you have a closed system (aquarium), so its not like toxins can rinse away on current to the rest of sea or ocean. Try running charcoal, assuming you have no tangs (or be aware you risk damage to your tangs even microscopic that may lead to HLLE) and hope for the best.

Oooof @.@ glad I didn't get more than 2 leathers ill just transfer the 2nd into my other dt since i have no leathers there
