Was wondering if anyone has had experience with this. This particular leather has always been out and extended but today I came down to the tank and found him shrunken up all day with what looks like bite marks taken out of him.
Everything I know of in my tank is reef safe so should I be looking for some type of unknown pred? All other corals are out with the exception of a cabbage leather thats never been happy even at the store. Other corals are a mix of Finger Leather, Montis, Acros.
Livestock I am aware of:
Azure Damsel
Citrinis Goby
Yellow Foxface
Blu Hippo Tang
Barred Goby
Molly Miller Blenny
Striped Cleaner Wrasse
Melanarus Wrasse
Emerald Crabs
Reef safe hermits
Ceriths
Limpets
Nerites
Tank is well established but is a 125 gallon with 150lbs of Gulf Rock so its entirely possible someone could be camping out given I did find a stone crab that I removed when we first got the rock, in addition to this I did loose a yellow tang that was almost 4" the other day that looked like someone tried to pull the body underneath the rock but aside from that I have not observed anything during lights out.
