Thanks all

Hi bob your corals are very healthy also goniopora so no doubt on the placement but identify it is not simple for me since it is close
Wait for others

Looks like it could also be Sinularia/Cabbage Coral vs Sarcophyton/Toadstool/ leather.

Placement appears appropriate.

My LFS said it was a leather. I trust maybe two people in there and although she takes care of saltwater fish I'm not sure on her coral identity
And said it was just a leather so I'm curious as far as placement

Well when it settles and opens it will become obvious. Labeling cabbage corals as a leather is common, as they look and act very similar but they are not the same coral. I used to place mine mid level under PC. Sinularia is easily fragged, an attractive coral and a relatively fast grower. Very under rated coral.

Start low and move up. My LFSs do that to me all the time and then I research and find out it is a high light vs. low light softie.

Leather is just a catch all for corals that have similar polyp structures and the leather appearance. A toadstool though is always a Sarcophton and, leathers can be either a Sinularia or a Sarcophyton.

Oh no worries I'm still learning myself I just know that many people don't name it right ( like me for a while
