Hi All.
My toadstool just sheds and won’t open? I have it a month. It’s got good flow and good light. It’s fully attached to the rock so I’m not able to move it.

Any ideas??

In my experience leathers are extremely hardy and survive almost anything.
-What are your parameters?
- any fish that might be picking at it?
- anything that could be stinging it ? Ex. Anemones, corals that put out sweepers?
You said you have had it a month, has it been this way the whole time?
Usually when mine are unhappy, they curl in , not splay out like the pic.

Hi
I have a 90l nano tank with two clowns, firefish, pistol shrimp, tuxedo urchin, Kenya tree and a montipora.

No fish goes near it and the other corals are spread along the tank.

Yes since I got it? I did up the flow near which has helped a bit

Thanks

It looks fine except that the polyps are not out, but as mentioned above, if it was unhappy it would be curled in.

They do like flow so give it flow. They also like nutrients so make sure you have measurable amounts of nitrate/phosphate in the water.

Looking at your pic, I am guessing the tank is newer, and the water is likely low in nutrients.

Thanks. Yes my tank is only 3months or so old. So I guess just keep going and be patient
