I'm really new , and this question has been bugging me . We bought a trumpet and hammer coral last week, and wondered if I'm supposed to remove the plug its attached to or leave alone and allow it to grow off on it own ?

Thanks for advice

Just pop it off the plug and super glue to the rock. I usually take an old butter knife and pop them of the plug.

I usually pop them off the plug or chip off the plug around it if I can't get it off without damaging the coral. Then i glue them to a piece of rubble and them glue them to my rock work. This way if they dont like where i placed them, I can move it without messing with the coral itself again.
